....and here's why.
One of our members from the MidEast posted a clip from the movie, Soul Men (or something like that) which featured an old Issac Hayes tune, 'Do your thing'. I had just gotten my (now retired) Nord C1 and wanted to see how it sounded recorded. After about three listens and 15 minutes trying to find a suitable drum track, I hobbled together this tune using a drum track from my old PA1x pro (I think), synth and bass tracks from my Roland Fantom G7, horn track from ??? G7 (but possibly from the Korg) and of course organ track from my C1. The vocal track (if you can call it that) was with my old Roland VP550 (since replaced with the VP770).
Although I was just fooling around and don't often attempt 'funk', I like the 'gospel' feel with the 1,3,2m changes. Go ahead and laugh, Boo, it's got at least 3 chords in it
. Oh yes, use headphones or big monitors as it's not processed and you'll miss the bass (may be a good thing
).

BTW, I think I remember DonM saying that the movie was shot in his hometown.
