If you look in the style menu items I believe most arrangers allow you to set the sensitivity of the chord changes to allow for users who don’t have perfect chord timing. In addition most style voices can be adjusted to react in different ways to chord changes.

Yamaha have this down to the tee, as they know home hobby players usually don’t have the time or inclination to heavily practice, whereas Korg tend to assume a more experienced home hobby player and set the default chord trigger more sensitive.

I know it’s an alien concept, but it is always worth looking in the manual.

Hope this helps

Bill
