Not me. Carol and I spent the evening waiting for trick or treaters, but not wanted to make that long hike down my dark driveway - guess they got skaird of the old miser that lives down there. wink Now I have a bunch of Reeses Footballs to eat - OH DAMNED! smile

Instead, I played the church organ, as it was reformation day. On the way back, I saw a walking banana and a white, cobwebbed creature without face, probably a side effect of my flue medication...

Wasn't playing a gig, but i did take advantage of the opportunity to bring out all my stage lighting (which i never get much of a chance to use at my gigs which consist of farmers' markets in the mornings and rest homes in the afternoons), strategically set up around the yard to illuminate our various Halloween decorations. And then my wife suggested i might play some "spooky chords" on the piano when Trick-or-Treaters came by --- well i knew i could do better than that. So i set up an old PSR keyboard, pulled up a GM organ patch, cranked the reverb level, and improvised on minor chords for the evening (with bits of Bach, Yes, Genesis, Iron Maiden, and Star Wars thrown in). Great fun.

I bet you'll be deflating that bag of footballs pretty quickly.

We've been staying in a 55plus community this month. Have to say it was weird not having kids coming to trick or treat last night. But will say there were plenty of neighborhood parties last night. It was a balmy 72 at 8 PM.

Two gigs...both with great costumes. They seemed to enjoy having Beetlejuice entertain them.

I played with my band at at a local bar in Ventura CA. Four girls dressed as Kiss won the costume contest. But I liked the guy who was half Kaitlan Jenner and the other half Bruce Jenner in Olympic running attire.

I played my regular job on Halloween. I wore a tight orange shirt and told everyone I was a pumpkin.

I played a dance at a VFW with a tejano/oldies band on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon my wife and I played a wedding "after party"' at a very nice home. I'm not sure how to post pics but they're on FB.
