Exactly. He doesn't know me and I don't know him. He says he doesn't trust Paypal because he got burned on it. Only option seems to be c.o.d. Not sure I want to do that, but I suppose it would be o.k. The guy has FB presence and appears o.k., but sometimes you just get a FEELING.

No one gets burned with Pay Pal - at least not anyone that I know personally.

Also, be careful of Certified Checks from the banks. I read where they're very easily counterfitted.

I have never had a problem with Pay Pal.

I have had someone send me a fraudulent Certified Check.

If I decide to do this, Fedex will be the broker for the funds and will be responsible if the funds are fraudulent.

On another matter, what is the deal with these arranger keyboards and price.?

I'll be honest I'm 60 now and after lots of years of buying overpriced kit, I'm at the stage I just can't justify or do it anymore. The Tyros5 approx $5,500 street and The PA4X 76 $5,300 au street, why are these boards so much more expensive than flagship synths?. I hoped that Korg would have come in with a killer price to get numbers way up, and get Yamaha down, but it looks as though they believe the sky is the limit in regard to $$$$.

I guess the day may come when someone introduces a killer arranger (Behringer???) at an amazing price, or the two heavyweights introduce a newy and everybody says nah! cant do it, problem being of course then a situation arrises where the tech takes a back seat, and everybody looses!.

I think street price at $3k Au would get so many more into the market and enhance investors profits greatly, whereby turnover doubles and so on. I wish they would start at this street point, as quite frankly I'm sick of taking a beating on resale to upgrade! what are your thoughts on this?.

Yes, Robbo, I would think Casio would be the likely producer of such an arranger. Behringer surely offers great value for the dollar on their PA gear.
