Jerry Lee was one Hell of a piano player, but his vocal diction was absolutely horrible. You could hardly understand a word he was singing on this one, and it wasn't uncommon with him. One fantastic showman, though. Gary

Chas, the OP was not about Jerry Lee, but instead, about the very talented youngsters that really play a rockin piano. There are lots of weirdos in show biz, and you know that, so what's your point. Though I never knew about the pedophile stuff until you posted it. Of course, there's a lot of things I don't know about - I've led a sheltered life. All the best, Gary

I'm sure glad none of the jazz legends ever did bad things, like take drugs, or whore around. At least Jerry Lee MARRIED his little cousin. If there were other kids I don't know about them. The cousin thing ruined his career for many years, but I don't think that made him a pedophile as commonly defined. I'm not condoning what he did, of course it was wrong or at the very least raging hormones running amok and a lack of self control. Let's look at some of our other heroes: Bill Clinton, Bill Cosby, John F. Kennedy, J. Edgar Hoover, Elvis Presley, Ray Charles. . . crap Ted Kennedy allegedly killed a girl and tried to cover it up. . . stop me my fingers are getting sore. Point is that I guess you can suffer from lack of morals and still be a decent singer or picker or whatever. Sad though, isn't it?

Country guys don't have those problems. Just look at Johnny Cash, George Jones, Hank Williams...all teetotalers too! Addendum: I wish I hadn't gotten involved in this discussion as it makes me sad. These people are in the spot light and all their flaws and warts are exposed. Most of them are just like us and started out just wanting to make music. Bad as they are/were, I respect them more than some of the "modern" celebrities. Bill Ray Cyrus must consider suicide every morning when he sees his daughter's latest escapade. One of the greatest vocalists of all time, Whitney Houston...what a tragedy...Jimmy Hendrix, Janis Joplin, the list is way too long. I'm going to go play some Blues and count my blessings. If you believe in God, then God bless you! If you don't then have a happy day and don't accept any Christmas gifts! Oh go ahead, at least you know there is a Santa Claus!
