HI TO ALL,
Today we will pass the 2000 posts mark. WE came from 748 on January 15th when we all begin to move in here and take over this mostly unused forum. We are growing fast and soon will overtake the big 3 Keyboard forums in total posts. Thanks to all Members, Techies, Guru's, Experts, and all contributors. A special thanks to Nigel for enabling us. You all are great. Keep on keeping on.
The next Technics Forum Newsletter should get to those that I have email addresses for, next week. Best to all from:

over 2000 posts eh!
and well over 10% of them seem to be down to me... and that from a late starter

do I detect an attitude change now to those pesky 'techies' who cause so much trouble and who were supposedly so unwelcome here...
how times change!

Hi Bebop and Alec,
Great forum and I especially like the LARGER print on the forum. Great for my ole tired eyes. I don't post very often, but I would like to use the mesage icon's. Have tried several times, but to no avail. Any advice?? Am sorry that it's not a "Techie" question. Hugh!!!!!!
Keep up the good work.
Best Regards,
Dave Shively
P.S. I am a proud registered member to get the latest from Technote on the 7000 boomerang. Ha,Ha.

HI Dave,
The icons are above the message window that you wrote your post in. Below the message window is a box that you check to NOT show the smilies in the post. Do not check that box. To your left of this window is Smilies Legend. Click on that to open it.
You just then type what it sez in the type colum to get it in your post. Try it, If you mess up you can delete your post or edit it and start over

I posted a URL at the technote forum last thursday & guess what it is even still there.
So Technote may have eased up a bit on the restrictions

My guess is that it will last as long as it is strictly related as this one Johnnie posted.
