Are there any S970 Arpeggio & Live Control Knob video Demos? I would love to see these features in action step by step...? at 6:05 here in the first demo it's briefly shown,.... but I'm looking for more in depth demo...
I may be off base here but...about the only ones I know interested in arpegiator music are teens today.
I came out of retirement to teach 15 - 18 year olds...listen to their music all the time...its rap...poorly done stuff...lyric and music wise. I would have given up writing music years ago if I was as bad as most rappers I hear.
So what are arrangers doing, trying to re-create this junk?

Hi Donny They work on any style. As demonstrated above. Michel explains that you can use the live control knobs to mute style parts. For example: He uses the big band style in variation "D". You got the horns and everything. Now you want to play a trumpet Solo... Usually you would take the band back by going to variation "C" or "B". But that would slow the band and drive down... With the Live control knobs you can stay in variation "D" for example to keep the drive and slowly mute the style parts to your liking for the trumpet solo. The second part is just showing filters and retrigger on dance styles. He makes a joke that you have to look a certain way and hold your head when playing dance style music. Hope this helps Eric

BTW, something I did not know until I tried it: when playing with the arpeggio you can choose any sound. That gives you unlimited possibilities.... Eric

Hi Donny, I keep playing with them from time to time and see what each does. It will take some time to remember and master each, but I think there is certainly some potential there.... Eric
