Most important however are lemur and touchOSC apps, that turn the ipad in a fullfledged controller for kronos, tyros5 but mostly for Macbook running mainstage...
My ipad is the most versatile thing i ever owned, next to being versatile its also rockstable and unbreakable
Bachus, could you describe further how you control your Tyros 5 with your iPad?
Tx
You can comtroll everything thats comtrollable over midi...
http://youtu.be/GQCm4W1otR8 This is a nice video, showing many of the programable options, like pads/buttons x/y pads, sliders, knobs... Anything...
Good examples of me using the tyros 5.. Having a midifile and 16 pads that switch tracks on and off... While 4 other pads switch to markers..
Or another setup that creates an x/y pad that controlls two parameters at the same time..
Another thing is setting up a slider that controlls several parameters at the same time...
To be honest, almost all of the things i want to do on the tyros or the kronos can be done from the controll surface of the instruments... However, when playing with mainstage on the mac, i mostly controll it with lemur or TouchOSC from the ipad...
My favorite lemur setup controlls logic on the mac, where it can record 6 tracks... And replay them.. I use these tracks as a chordsequencer.. Having buttons to record and replay these chordsequences, and when replaying them freeing up the left hand for controlling sa2 or kontakt voices..
