When I sold my Kn7000 years ago I gave the buyer all my work/settings on SDs card never thinking I would own another Kn7000.

In the Bebop days and after, I shared much of the above information with other members. If anyone has this information I shared please send it to me. I am concerned with Panel memories, Custom styles and Sounds. Much appreciated.

Thank you, John C.

Vangelis,
I owned and sold three Kn7000; when I sold the last one I decided that there would be no more Kn7000 for me. Recently I started to listen to some of the music I created on the Kn7000; it was the best I have done.

The Kn7000 will stay at home, I still have my Pa900 – it’s a great keyboard. The Korg Pa3x/4x are a bit too heavy for me so am content to stay with the Pa900.

After hearing the Yamaha s970 and my Pa900 side-by-side I decided that the Pa900 sounded better; although the S970 had a lot to offer.
Vangelis, where in Florida do you live?

Don, you always right there, THANK YOU.

John C.

Good luck with your KN7000.....I never liked the sunken keybed on my KN7k my fingers would get hung up on each end,.....but Technics sure has some great styles and the speakers were awesome too,.. my favorite was the KN5000 terrible VH but ahead of it's time for sure made alot of $$$$ with mine,....in fact I think I got it from Don M many many moons ago.....anyways John enjoy. keys

John ... 'once a techie', always a 'techie' ... keys ... it's a damned shame they (Mitsushitsu ?) gave up on that product line ... they were ALWAYS ahead of the curve with the exception of a VH which even in my KN6000 unusable ...
Best of luck with your KN7000 ...

HI John,
got a message from Don M. to look at your post. I might have some of what you are needing if you let me know what to look for.
I don't think I have your email anymore either so email me. I think my email is here in my sj registration.
Thanks Don M>

Hi Bill,
Thanks for answering Don and myself. This is the fourth time I am buying a Kn7000; can’t seemed to get it out of my blood.
My needs:

First would be panel memory.
Then sounds – followed my songs
I’ll appreciate anything you come up with. I’m just trying to find some of my old work so I don’t have to start from scratch.

Hi John,
I just looked in this current use computer and all I found was some songs in Technics format. You can keep the songs and also grab the styles off of each song. Don't have any idea what keyboards were used for these songs but might be Kn7. they are zipped up about 2 mgs. Just now emailed them to you. I will look in older computers as time permits. I am still looking for a Kn7 to buy but not looking very hard anymore. Best regards from Bebop.

Bebop, thank you I got your email. One thing I have at my age and that is years beautiful Kn7000/Bebop days.

I remember sending a stand I had made. Your reply: “John you’re sending me a keyboard stand and you don’t even know me”. I said, “Bebop I see all you have given to so many; I have never been part of a forum that was so involved, and gave so much; and that is all I need to know.

Stay well Bill, John C.

Bill can you add those files as an attachment to this thread or send them to me so I can. It would be nice to have them included here.

Bill,
I received three emails; I have not opened them up yet.
Thank you again.

I program my Pa900 to play out, and I work with rebuilding the styles and system I had with my Kn7000. Enjoying myself. Thanks Bernie.

John C.

PS, I have used keyboards as a tool to entertain others. I also have used keyboards to do one of my favorite things – organize. For me it is hours of fun.
