Hi guys.....
Looking to get a arranger. Looking at the new 970 or maybe get a used T4??
Can't justify a T5 at this time.
Any help with this out there??

I might be selling mine I got to see PA4x first

I like my T4 a lot but have T5 and am considering PA4X to make it a little different

if interested let me know .

I've heard both. T4 sounds better, and it should. Guitars on S970 are amazing. 970 is WAY easier to move around.
What's important to you? That's the question.

Two very strong points of T4 are

- better keybed
- SA2 sounds
(Its also better looking)

Where the S970 has...

- deejaystyles and knobs
- better effects sesction ( same as T5)
- audio styles..
- a little lighter

Thats about it, where it comes to differences...

The Tyros 4 has a much better keybed and to me that's very important. You might even look for a used T-5 as prices are
getting better as it ages. I have played the 970 and the
keybed is to me a reason to get a T-4 (Sounds are better)
Thing to think about is a used T-4 could be a problem if
not taken care of or gigged a lot of the time. Don has good

What's a great price on a used T5?

I have both boards you mention and gig with both.

The S970 is the best PSR board I've used but the Tyros is a cut above in my opinion.

Question is how are you going to use it? Gigging? Playing at home?

Used prices on EBay for Tyros 4 and 5 are pretty accurate I think.
