I think the idea of more sound modules is great. However, in this particular case, for me anyway, it's not so great.

The module in question only has 20 sounds, and it costs a mere $249.00. I mean, how good can it be? Especially compared to the Roland Integra-7?

Thank you, Torch, for finding and posting this. It may be of interest to others.

If modules were profitable they would have not stopped making them,...with the introduction of VSTs, & Computer programs etc, etc, I doubt you'll see any more modules anytime soon & rightly so.
Just do it all on your Pc/Mac/iPad or whatever if you want to go that way,...technology is changing constantly. What gear we have today will be ancient in a few short years..

The general observation that two companies release standalone modules is encouraging, even if this one may only be interesting for its Steinway piano sound.

I contradict Donny and say these two companies are NOT foolish and there is obviously a goood reason, as many people simply do not want to rely on a computer in live situations, BUT want a compact addition to their existing gear.

Modules were an 80's/90's memory and good ones at that but the music world has moved on in so many ways,..all those extra midi wires, and extra gear to lug around & setup & connect ...in studio is another story.
I don't miss it on stage at all.

If you don't want to use them, it doesn't mean others have no use for them.
The Integra is a successful seller for a good reason. As are the small Ketron modules.
Setup and wiring is more wearisome for software libraries on laptop.
In addition, the development of tablets and their apps have made the use of modules more convenient lately.

Thank you, Donny, your wishes sound like I was doing something very unusual. A I said, many people want modules. The Integra has 27 reviews at Thomann.de, check it, that's a good number, about as many reviews as for MoXF6.
I don't really know what your motivation is to speak against them generally. Isn't it enough to say it's not for you personally?
