I'm looking for a song, but part of my problem is the title. I believe, but I'm not certain, the title is "I Don't Know Why I Love You Like I do" Does that sound right?

I tried Google, and midi search, but not much luck, maybe because I have the title wrong. I'm trying to obtain the sheet music, and or midi for this song.

Any Help?

Thanks
Larry

Hi Larry
I know a song titled, "I don´t know why I love, but I do". It is from the late 50 or maybe early 60. I belive the male singer whas Clarence "Frogman" Henry.

I have this song on a Technics Midifile. Just give me a mess and I will send it to you.

Regards Lindoz

Thanks All.

Joan's sheet music is ..."Like I Do"
Thank Joan. Your a great gal.

A midi Midi File /Lyrics a friend sent me is..."But I Do"

A little confusing, but I suppose there are many songs that start out the same and somehow the words change with time.

Tony, Interesting midi site link. I will definetly look around there. Thanks for that.

Lindoz, yes please send me the Technics Midi file. You are super at midi to Technics.

With all your help, I can now learn to play this song quickly for a Senior Home Brunch.

Regards,
Larry

Larry,
Look in your mailbox. This is the old standard from the 30's or 40's.
You will need Lime software to view and print. Download the free Lime Viewer. http://www.cerlsoundgroup.org/cgi-bin/Lime/Windows.html

Larry, if you haven't found the right version yet, let me know. The correct title is "But I Do" written by Robert Guidry and Paul Gayten, and recorded by Clarence "Frogman" Henry, of Louisiana. It reached #4 on the charts on Feb. 26, 1961 on Argo Records, a subsidiary of Chess Records. It is found in Volume 3 of "American Rock & Roll" and has the complete music editions.

Wow, I asked this question over a year ago.
I was surprised to see it revised

Brucey,
I got your emailed midi, and it is excellent. Thanks for that.

Bud,
Since this was posted awhile back I have obtained the sheet music and midi.
If you still want to send me your file, I'll certainly appreciate it.

You are right..."But I Do" is the correct title. Thanks for the info.

Larry
