I'm sure all the new systems sound pretty good, have their pros and cons.

I wasn't really in the market for a linear array system. I agreed to take my keyboard to a local Guitar Center and demo a JBL EON ONE for a friend. After we heard it, we each walked out with a system.

It fits the bill from the smallest to a very large venues. I am attaching a photo of the hall where we performed for a ballroom dance group. (our duo was on the stage at the back of the photo at the red curtain) The JBL did the job perfectly. After words people came up on stage and complimented us, and told us that is the first time everyone stayed to the end of the dance.

Did you use one or two JBL's for that room. And what were you running thru them.?

Tony,
The picture I posted was from the venue's picture gallery. The purpose was to show the size of the room.

When we performed the tables were set up along the walls, with the whole center of the room open for the dancers.
The ballroom dancers use every inch of the floor, especially when doing the Viennese waltz and Tangos.

Bill,
I used only 1 JBL Eon One.  I plugged the vocalist's mic into the Tyros, and the Tyros into ch 3 & 4 on the JBL. That's it.

The stage really resonated with the bass from the unit.

I was really surprised myself with the performance of the unit.

Easiest setup ever. They had a small handicap elevator to the left of the hall for the equipment, and the JBL is in a free $120 transporter case w/wheels.

Regards,

Jerryghr

Yes, I am aware of the Maui 28 Mix, but I din't know about the new Maui 11 with seperate column speakers.

Could you give a little more info on which mdoels of HK and RCF you were referring to?
