It's irritating, though, Aud, that SD memory is still substantially more expensive than compact flash, and whereas compact flash is going to be available soon in a 1 gigabyte card, the max on SD I have found is 256MB, which is not that much when you are using wav files. (By the way, I WAS talking earlier about very cheap universal SD card readers/writers for the transmission of audio files in wav or other formats that are ultimately re-encodable as MP3Pro, not about the Technics or MIDI data transfer system. Of course, you don't need to bother with the SD card if you use a direct USB hook-up.) Leo.
