In memory of late George Martin, who composed the soundtrack/song together with Paul McCartney. Spontaneous version with live piano and self-made orchestral tracks made yesterday evening.

That's a great by ear sequence rosetree . I know how hard it is to reproduce a track with all the orchestral instruments and changes in time signature by ear . You obviously have a lot of talent and time on your hands . Great job
Nice job & making the arrangement your own is a good thing! .. you can add so much more by playing over a multi track recording. Thanx for sharing your work.

Very well played and excellent job on the backing tracks...I've been doing some multi-tracking lately and I can appreciate what you have done.
Piano sounds really good...just the right tone for both sitting nicely on top of, and also within, the mix.
Have you tried "The Long And Winding Road", another nice candidate for multi-tracking, although your choice is even more impressive because of the tempo changes.
I was reading in the news that George Martin did the "harpsichord solo" (piano recording doubled in speed so it sounded like a harpsichord) in "In My Life" and he played the trumpet in Penny Lane. If you read about him on the Net he was a very eclectic man who played a big role in the life of the Beatles.

Yes, I had also heard the Penny Lane making-of story as presented in the video, it just had to be a highly professional baroque trumpeter... (and 27 pounds for that trumpet solo, WOW )
