Thanks for the post, Rudi. Our family members are the ones from "the south"; later in the article identified as from Lexington.

I avoided names here to avoid additional problems in Facebook postings and associations with other individuals associated with the family.

Please, everyone, avoid picking up the name(s) and using them in these posts. You never know where they'll end up.

FYI: I just got a post forwarded from the family of the boy in Tennessee saying the body of the boy had been identified.

No word yet on our sweet little girl.

It's been almost a week.

I'm SICK about this!

Sadly, it seems that the young couple has been confirmed dead.

I am so sorry for your loss Russ. I know that there really is no easy consolation, but I would like to think they are in a better place, where no hatred or miserable little religious fanatics exist.
Please accept my condolences.

Don't know if I'm more mad than sad or the other way around.

This was a couple full of life and potential...hard workers who had recently finished grad school.

Our little sweetheart comes from the finest family you'll ever meet.

To you all; my sincerest thanks and appreciation.

I'm completely SICK over this unnecessary loss.

Even in the worst of times, there is hope. I've been thinking of the good deeds and good people around us.

It doesn't fix things, but it helps put things in perspective.

Most of all, I am devastated, not by the action itself, but by the underlying issues and problems.

What kind of ideology can justify this horrible incident?

The people who did this are probably parents, have kids, feel happiness and care for others.

If they wanted to cause intense hurt, sorrow and misery, they surely have done that.

Russ ... Our deepest sympathies and thoughts are with you ... It is always difficult to lose loves ones, but when it happens in such an unexpected and despicable manner it is even more difficult to process ...
I will pray for your family and friends' healing ...
