My current rig is just the MJPro, a Korg Microkey controller kb that all fit on a backpack and a Bose L1 Compact.
I'm a singing OMB and just waiting for the vArranger to have vocal input with processing/harmonization capability to replace MJPro.
I prefer just to lug a 15" 2-1 touchscreen laptop, a compact, lightweight controller kb and a Bose L1 Compact.

I have. Not yet heared of Dann wanting to implement a software vocaliser in the Varranger..

However, there is quite some mid to high end solutions that will work in combination with Varranger on your laptop that would give you even more harmonisationnthen the hardware vocalisers...
