Nice styles...

Just cant understand why they moved away from the nice black color of the orriginal pa4x with the musikant version...

I've always preferred my keyboards black. They just seem more professional and serious.

Black or not, it sounds great!

The fact that there are two versions of the KORG Pa4x shows how different musical tastes can be around the world....IMO kORG should of just used the one model BLACK and incorporated all the styles from both or just offered different style packages to accommodate players needs around the world. ....why do they need a silver & black model? or is tios just a marketing move?

There are 3 versions...

Internationall
Musikant ( internationall with added european sounds and styles)
Oriental ( internationall with added asian and middle eastern sounds and styles)

2 of them are black, the Musikant is not...

The pop and Rock are very good, can we buy or download some of these styles?

Don ... THANK YOU !!! ... Is that all the musikant styles?, because there is that dual tempo jazz style I would like to try out ... and the file extension is .rar ... how do I get that into the Pa900? ...

That is all the Musikant PA4X styles. There are also sets from the 3x, 900, 600 versions. Some of them have different styles of course.
I can send you the dual tempo jazz style if it's not there.
.rar is simply a compression, like .zip. Most zip programs can open them. I use 7-zip. It's free.
You will need to unzip the folder on your computer, copy to USB and then load onto the 900. You can load entire set, or "drill" down til you get to the individual styles and try them one at a time. You can select the destination, or let them automatically load into User locations. Go to Media, Load, toggle to USB and find the style.
I then Copy the ones I want to keep into Favorite locations, and in some cases, copy them to Factory locations.

Ron has a package called Superb Styles on Create Styles board. They are for PA3x, but will work fine.
