it's getting to the point where you really have to wait 6 to 12 months after a release to see what turns up with user reviews, bugs, updates, etc, etc, before you make the plunge on any big purchase these days....

I really think Casio should have released a MZ3000. Perhaps with a hard drive and slimmer.

Yes--appalling, but certainly the most logical course of action for a consumer. However... think about the impact of that consumer strategy on a company's business model!!

I really don't know what's wrong with companies today, why they lack such discipline when it comes to a test regimen? And it's not just arrangers. Even today's hi-tech cars have problems like this. Until I receive assurances (or a steep "can't lose" discount), let 'em sit in inventory!
