Actually, it's a medium sized truck....old American Brand. Can't say much more....I NEED THE GIGS!

Videos like this have replaced printed bulletins. Every one needs audio. BORING BUT PROFITABLE.

Kinda like the video Verizon bills I now get emailed to me. I still won't pay until they send me something in the snail mail, though.

We pay at least 90 percent of bills on line, many automatically. It's the 21st century Gary! smile

I only have four bills each month, and I don't pay any of them online, and you're right, I'm not on Facebook, Twitter, etc...

Today, I taught my grandson how to repair a brick sidewalk, tomorrow night I'm teaching him how to catch night-crawlers, and the following day I'm taking him sailing and fishing, none of which required a PC or smart phone. On Friday, I'm taking him to Conowingo Dam to see some American Eagles in the wild as they catch fish at the base of the dam's spillway. Yeah, it may be the 21st Century, but I'm gonna teach him some old school stuff.

A few nights ago, I was watching Fox News Water's World as he went from one beach resort to another, interviewing college kids. I never realized how badly we've dumbed down our children, until watching this program. They couldn't answer the simplest, rudimentary questions about US or world history - questions any 4th grader could have answered when I was a kid. I was amazed, but also depressed to see how our education system has deteriorated over the past 50 years. These college students could not even answer common sense questions such as: "How long did the 100 years war last?, When was the war of 1812 fought?, Who did America fight during WWII?, Who was John F. Kennedy?, Who won the Civil War?" Are you kidding me?

Now, my grandson turned 9 years old on June 6th, however, every day, other than a couple days a week that he plays baseball, he has his nose buried in a touch screen playing games or watching cartoons on TV. He's a big kid, growing like a weed, and well above average in his classroom studies. But, at nearly 5 feet tall and just over 100 pounds, he was unable to lift a 20-pound bucket of broken bricks - that's what I believe 21st century technology is doing to him and the vast majority of our youth. At night, I now have him reading Time Life books about nature, which has made a huge difference in his knowledge base. When we finish the nature series, I will give him my 30-volume western history series.

Think I'll stick with the 20th century stuff for now, wink

Like many things, the internet is a tool, and a darned valuable one. Like any tool, it can be used to advantage or misused. That's where the parenting comes in.
See we are using it right now, but I'm leaving to play golf with grandson for a few hours. smile
