Thank you all for your suggestions. I had a demo of the Jade System today and it did seem a lot to carry for one not so young lady - two speakers plus stands plus a control box which I suppose is what you call a monitor. Bruno, do I understand from your post that you only use two amplified speakers, and let the keyboard control all the sounds and effects? What is the advantage of having another external control? I am resigned to the fact that in a theatre I would need to use the system provided, but now that I have started playing for the various senior get- togethers in fairly small halls, I do need a little more than just the keyboard. What strength would each speaker need to be if I went this way? Reguards. Jean.
