...and that was the last time I was in that place. I worked there six nights a week for several years back in the early 80's. They used to call me to come back but now they know that I won't because of the smoke so they quit calling.
It's a wonder I didn't get lung cancer from all that second hand smoke. I never smoked and always hated being around it.

My long-time partner lost 1/2 his tongue and finally died from throat and tongue cancer. He didn't smoke, either. I stood beside him for 20 years...still worry about that, occasionally.
