I had to play far, and take train and metro and bus...
I gone to a store and they cut one wood at wanted dimensions for me, for few €. I put all my things on it, so it is a bit nicer, and the new korg microkey 61 air.

The wireless kb does not work very good. So I used it plugged in USB.

I used only the vArranger sounds + the VST Hypersonic. It is an old vst but sounds are still very interesting and has a perfect integration with vArranger

Wow it was great !!

Just... it is a bit hard to play on small keys, and I am not sure if people thinks that I am not taking them seriously with this mini keys toy

By the way. I am not tired about carrying all this. it is so lightweight and compact !

I was thinking of buying some kind of "air" Bluetooth keyboard but then I discovered the Yamaha MD-BT01 MIDI-to-Bluetooth adapter which allows you to use ANY keyboard with 5-pin DIN MIDI ports wirelessly with your iPad. It sells for $50.

The choices of "air" keyboards isn't real good and I like the idea of being able to use different keyboards with my iPad so I was glad to see the MD-BT01 come along. I have one on order so I can't testify to how well it works yet but it's gotten good reviews.

A nice and inexpensive setup. The button controller next to the keyboard must be a BEHRINGER CMD LC-1 which vA2 supports and gives MIDI feedback. If it is the CMD LC-1, how does that work out? Does it come with a PC editor?

I find the Microkey quite playable myself. Could you upload some pictures of your wood case/stand? I want to have my friend build one for me.

As for a Bluetooth midi connection, I use the mi.1 by Quicco Sound and to connect it to a Windows machine, the WIDI Bud can used. The WIDI Bud works with other Bluetooth devices such as the mi.1, Yamaha, Korg Air, and C.24 Miselu. The Roland FP30 is the only 88 key with Bluetooth MIDI built that I found.

Yes it is the Behringer CMD LC-1, and I just bought too the Behringer CMD DV-1

Those controllers are nice, so I have developed the led feedback for them in vArranger.

I don't really understand. Behringer is simply killing this controller series. Decided to stop production and put the price at 30-35€ to make them diseaper from stores !
The LC-1 is out of stock everywhere.

The DV1 that I just bought can still be bought

Thanks for the info, it probably doesnt sell as good as they hoped...

They look alike th NI deejay controllers... If free programmable, they definately will be a addon in a Varranger setup...

Nothing is programmable inside those controllers, but this does not matter, as you can assign any buttons or knob to any function of vArranger, and vArranger will send led feedback to light the buttons accordingly to what is selected on screen

The buttons are big and with a click. I don't think they will last a lot of time smile

The light is very nice, blue, green, orange buttons...

The controller is a bit too big for me, but it is ok. I will put one on every side of the screen smile

The infinite knobs with led-rings are very good for vArranger, since vArranger will redefine their value and they will always be in sync with vArranger, even with VST parameters.

It is a bit sad that you need to turn the knob many time to be able to change from 0 to 127 value. So they are not useable. I will maybe create a special script for them in vArranger to accelerate them

The CMD LC-1 is still readilly avaiable in the States. I bought a new one for $31 shipped.

How would you use the CMD DV-1 with vArranger?
