I chose HIQ meaning high quality styles. By high quality, I meant more onboard audio & midi loops to be used for styles.
That does not mean I esteem them any better than styles created by others, only that I'm using the onboard available features to their max.
To me (as these styles are modified by me for me) they sound good. However, I do not expect all to agree. It's like a hobby for me & I like posting the results over here.
As for the OS versions, I suspect that Ketron did something to protect their & Ajamsonic styles amongst others. I think they neglected that with OS5.2A & hence this OS no longer available from them. I miss absolutely nothing by using this OS, so it does not effect me in any negative way.
Style Compiler does not read any style modified by me right here on my own Audya. It complains about a divide by zero problem. I am convinced Ketron can fix this in less than an hour, however they are not at all interested. Unlike Yamaha, Ketron does not motivate style modifications by novices like myself. It's a sad thing really, but it's not going to change, so we simply live with it.
