Yeah, but what's it going to be? We've just (recently) gone from Korg (PA900) to Yamaha (PSR950) to Ketron (SD7) to Yamaha (PSR970) to Korg PA4x;------- so what's yo' problem man; why you dissin' Roland and Casio? (hope the older, more conservative among you realize that I'm only joking).

Chas I actually played Frans new ROLAND EA7 a few days ago after a sumptuous breakfast and was very surprised at how well laid out it was and all the kool features it has for a arranger at that price range.If Roland takes it a step further soon with a EA9 it could be a winner for sure....

Donny, I will open up the PA4X and see if what you are asking can be done. I actually think it can. I'll let you know. In other words, you want to be able to push Songbook title and have it open up with, for instance, STS 3, instead of 1, right?

I'm re-thinking this a bit, Donny do you want STS 2 to open with Variation 1 or STS open to let's say STS 3 with variation 1? If that's the case then I don't believe it can be done.
Hi Donny, Not sure if this is what you're talking about Pa3x had sts button. This button is now called style to Kbd set. Press it to flashing and the sounds change with the variations?
Above the auto fill button.
Don't know how it donks with the songbook, but that 's his I use it for style play.

P.S. Just tried it on my Pa3x, does not work on the 3x either.
Let's say I want to save a song with STS 3 assigned save it to Songbook go to another song and save it with STS 2 go back to the songbook and select the first song and you will see the STS went back to STS 1 instead of STS 3
