76 keys top of the line.... to bad it requires a Ketron SD40 to have top quallity styles...

And that at a price of €8000 thats almost 3 pa4x's...

Biggest pro, offcourse, the sound technollogy is more then a decade ahead of anything else, except Varranger...

I would think they made it single to take out and gig with it?

Yes for sure, but still stays mostly organ, and is sought after by organ players, and they want 2 manualls and pedals... so having the option to add another manuall (and pedals) allows gigging organ players to build up the organ on stage...

For most keyboard players, its probably a no go for gigging at its weight of 23 kg..

Currently the styles are the weak part of the Wersi OAX range of instruments...

There is an easy way to repair this, and thats by adding support for Varranger... that would definately improve the arranger capabillities of this organ... also its missing multipads, which should be part of any high end arranger(you can only trigger audio clips, but no midi phrases)

A few more details on the Wersi Direct Site here intrigued about the new VST Host & Real Drum/Audio style creator.

Wonder if they will make an OAX Up version for the Abacus, just like they did for the other organs.

Seems most german wersi players think we will nit see an upgrade kit for the Abacus, on top of that, this keyboard is almost as expensive as an upgrade kit...

Good thing is that organ pedals are confirmed, sadly not yet a lower manuall, but i still asume this is the definitive abacus replacement, and it should be able to function with a lower keybed just like the abacus and the wing...

Trying to find some more information about oax version 1.30

Some details here however looking at the OAX 1 spec it only shows some of the new features, so we will have to wait until it comes out to confirm all that's in it.

Enjoy
