Track was arranged by me on the Yamaha Motif XF. I won a big TV with this song. Now, all I need to do is to sell my PSR-S970 and invest into my next musical moment!!

clap clap clap loved it!! everyone puts their special stylings to it and you my friend did it justice for real!

Thanx for sharing.

Nice job J - I've seen this before, and it still holds up. I have one teeny suggestion for you ... the last key change is exciting, and your voice really carries it, but the track stays constant. I'd recommend pumping the energy of that last chorus so you can really feel the extra push. If I was in the band backing you up, that's how I'd react when you really slam the ending home! Bravo, my friend. Well done, you.

Thank you!!

The track has meat at the end but it was a competition and a DJ was controlling the volume. I always push the the end of big songs to create a big "moment." The track was pumped up from the beginning by my Ozone software. I never know if I can trust the person running sound and I am competing against karaoke tracks that are pumped up from the studio. The main volume could have been pushed at the end to give me more support. I remember the "moment" well and I know I wanted to hear more.

I wonder how the track would come out if I produced it on the Korg Pa4X?!?

Nope - Johnathan nailed it musically. I just wanted the band to "catch up" with his energy at the end. It was a great performance.

My summer gig is running sound at a regional theatre... Gretna Theatre in Mt. Gretna, PA. Next season will be my 5th and the theater's 90th. I always add a little extra volume and meat in a dynamic song near the end. It's the performance of the actor, the pit orchestra and the sound person all working together to create that special musical moment! And when it happens, it can be magic!

OK... if I sell off my...
Korg M1R EX
Roland D-550
Korg O1/W fd
Korg Wavestation EX
Korg Triton Studio 61
Roland VP-770
Yamaha PSR-S970

Then I may have enough to buy the Korg Pa4X. eBay... here I come!!!
