Is there anyone in the whole wide Technics world that has heard of a song called "Grandma's Arms". One of my singers wants to perform it but can only provide the words. I think it must be very old, but the words are really lovely. Also, is there available anywhere, a Scott Joplin ragtime style. I can't find anything that quite suits in my collection.I may have missed it.Reguards to all. Jean Olivia.

Hi Found this site, that mentions Grandma’s Arms, but whether it is the one you are after I don’t know, but if it is there is contact information. http://www.juliakelly.com/lyrics1.htm

I have had a correction from the singer. The song is " Grandmsa's Hands" not arms. It is apparrently a negro spiritual and has been recorded by Barbra Streisand. The first lines are "Grandma's hands clapped in church on Sunday mornings' Grandma's hands picked me up when I fell down". Has anyone got the dots or know where I can find it, please? Thanks to all - I am sorry for the boo-boo (Australian expression?)Cheers. Jean.

Hi Jean Olivia I have done some reserch and Barbara streisands version was made in 1987, and was a cover of the Bill Withers song Grandma’s Hands of 1973. Unfortunately no music scores or Midi files appear to be available, (I have even checked fake books.) but CD’s containing these songs by both Artists are still available, so I should check the local online stores of your country of residence. I have also included a couple of links to the CD’s on Amazon. COM. Hope this helps.
