Donny, does the tempo change based on the variation played? ... and will that play on a Pa900? ...
I am still looking for a Jazz ballad style that will 'double time' the way a Jazz group would ...

Yes Tony variation controlled 2&3.......don't know if style would work on Pa900 without conversion?

Hi Tony,
As far as I'm aware pa900 is compatible with pa3x, so a pa4x style probably won't load.
Maybe it could be converted from a midi file, , haven't had a chance to try one yet.

From what I can see... Koorg is still using the same style format.
Just email Tony the style..

Hi Tony,
I'll try converting from export midifile function.
Been wanting to see if it's possible, might as well try it with a style someone might have use for.

Send me a pm of where you would like me to email it.

Obviously not...

PA4x styles have many more parameters they remember then lower level Korgs... and a few options not available in the older styles...

The good thing is, Korg never put the real differeneces on paper for the users.. Luckilly the PA4x can still read PA3x styles. So this makes a more advanced style format actually a good thing, since they are backward compatible (with some edditing )

Hi,
actually quite interesting the way the style is recorded.
There aren't any actual tempo changes recorded, ie it's ( 110bpm) throughout.
Sections of intro/ending1 are in double time ? also vari 3 & 4 and the corresponding fills.

I had been expecting to find tempo changes.
Probably made it a bit easier to convert, less settings to worry about.

These type of styles have been around for about a decade - I have a few of them in my collection.
