I agree with Chas on this issue. My son recently remarried, and we inherited three beautiful grand daughters. The lady he married is Korean, her children were all born in this country, and they are incredibly talented and intelligent young ladies, the oldest of which is 24 and currently in London getting her Doctorate, while the middle child is 21 and in NYU near the end of her Masters degree. The youngest, just 17, left for Boston where she began her first year of college on a full scholarship.

All of the girls have mastered at least one musical instrument, yet they also enjoy spending time with their newly acquired families cruising the waters of Chesapeake Bay, hiking, or just shooting some hoops in the driveway. All three girls, and their mom, are very disciplined, and all have a 4.0 GPA.

Today, I feel like I am the luckiest person in the entire world.

All the best,

Gary cool

Good to be breathing again, 124. Thought I had bought the farm for a while there, and came damned close. Guess I managed to dodge the big bullet again.

Thanks everyone,

There ya go. Now instead of 'the old codger', you can refer to yourself as 'the old dodger'. That's got a better ring to it. Dodge on. smile
