On Super Sunday, I used the Korg Pa4X at my contemporary worship service. I have 200 plus backing tracks that I have made for services over the last 12 years. So, I transferred the 4 songs I needed from the Yamaha Motif ES7 to my DAW. Then I processed it and exported a WAV and MP3 of the tracks. Then I put them in a folder (Sunday Songs) on the thumb drive I use for the Pa4X. I add the 01-02-03-04 to the file names to put them in service order.

Song mode
Select the folder on the thumb drive
Select the file
Play
Control volume of the song on the MP3 slider
Control my right voice 1 volume on the slider
Play piano to the song and sing like normal

Only problem... the output level of the Pa4X is less than my Yamaha Motif ES. I'll fix that for next Sunday.

12 pounds lighter
Great piano sound
Great control of background tracks

People liked coming up to look at the new keyboard.

Have you made backup tracks for tradiontal hymns or played them on your Pa4X?

Only a few hymns over the years. 200 contemporary from 2004 to 2017... Only about 10 hymns.

Is there anyway you can upload one or two of your hymn arrangments?

When I heard the news of my cousin's death, this song popped into my head, and wouldn't leave me alone, so I had to record it ... just to clear my brain. I guess he was sending me the vibe from up above. Rest easy, Eddie. Miss ya.

Description: Not a church song, per se, but I recorded this as a tribute to my cousin, who lost his life 2 years ago. I wanted to send it to his widow to see if she wanted it sung at the church ... she told me that it was his favorite song. I never knew. (Recording do

Thanks Eric. Last night I did an acapella version of "Nowhere Man" with a 3 voice harmony and the crowd really ate it up. I was actually surprised at how positive the reaction was, even though I've been a harmony pioneer since the old eventide days.
