Got a call from a local restaurant. Their Valentines show cancelled. So I filled in for three hours. Nice place..maybe 150 folks.

Thing is, since I play mostly for seniors, my music was somewhat dated for this younger crowd.

Fun thing was, some younger families with kids sat up close so their kids could dance.

The kids had a blast and I could tell the parents had a blast watching them. smile

Dean Martin (well know for his heavy drinking) once said he knew he'd cut himself shaving 'cause his eyes cleared up. Funny....and makes a great visual.

I purchased a small box of chocolates for Carol in a heart shaped box, made a card for her, and gave her a big kiss. This is the first Valentine Day that I have been home in more than 30 years, and it felt very different. I was asked to do Valentines Parties at three different locations, but had to turn them down.

Happy Valentine's Day ladies,

Gary cool

My evening gig was with the female vocalist, and both her husband and my wife came to the gig ... afterwards, Lydia and I went out for a cocktail and dessert ...
