Hi all!

I have recorded about 40 "covers" of songs (in late 2016) on the Tyros5; I had made them for creating CDs for local friends and family etc. Not sure of the best way to share them, but I decided to put some of them on my DropBox. I also will be adding them to my page on the PSR forum. Below is a link to the DropBox folder.

People are sometimes curious how I created the recordings ... I basically played each song all the way through on the Tyros5, recording to the on-board audio (WAV) recorder. I tried to play a 'complete' song, as I would if I were playing it at a gig. Then, I took that WAV file, put it into my little audio system (based on Pro Tools), and for most songs, I added 1 more track (adding one more instrument such as an extra layer of strings, or for some songs, vibes, trumpet or Glockenspiel or whatever the song seemed to "need"). Then I took the results and created a WAV file, then from that created these MP3 files. So, the recordings are mostly 1 pass to play the song fully, and then 1 more pass to add an extra sound layer.

Here they are (20 files):

I didn't get to hear it all, but I liked what I heard. Good selection of tunes that everyone should be familiar with.
