I had a 201 for a few weeks..
then switched to a KORG SAS 20 which I gigged with for a while...
then up the ladder synths, modules, and arrangers, Juno 60, RA90, M1, i3,i30, release after release,....
although the B3 & 147 Leslie & a Fender Rhodes were my foundation boards on stage performing with the bands, technology was changing very rapidly with keyboards at that time, ....it was an exciting time for KB musicians.
unlike nowadays frown

No, no disappointment here. Every new keyboard has been a joy, from my first Yamaha Psr?? to my Pa4x.

There are times I sit with my new Pa4x and just smile – it does so much in so many areas. No disappointment here just pleased.

It seems like only yesterday I was marveling at my new Casio CZ 101 and the dozens since then. It is funny how we think something is great until something better comes along.

There is allways a hang back to earlier...

In the synth scene minimoog, Yamaha sc80 and Roland jupiter 8 are still considered to be among the best synths ever... newer is not allways better...

I really should dig out my old Micromoog. My dad bought it for me not long before he passed in 1976. I used it on a few band gigs (used to sit it on top of my Hammond M102), but it's been in its case this past thirty years, sort of left behind.

I hope it doesn't turn to dust when I open the lid. smile

Make sure to clean it inside out with dustsprayer before you switch it on...
