What always amazes me is the lack of knowledge our young people have about the history of this nation and the entire world in general. What the Hell did they learn in school? My generation had to memorize the names of the presidents, state capitols, continents, nations, etc... Now, many of the world's greatest historical documents will have to be rewritten in printed format because the schools, at least here, are no longer teaching cursive writing. Take a look at the interviews on Fox News Water's World last night http://video.foxnews.com/v/5451059405001/?#sp=show-clips Good looking young ladies, but dumb as dirt!

I'm in New Jersey to play at an upscale Independent/Assisted Living venue with the guitar player from the band we had in NY ...
Playlist includes 'God Bless the USA', 'Only in America', 'Blowing in the Wind', This Land is Your Land', God Bless America, all the Military theme songs, etc. etc. ...

Be thankful to all those who died protecting us ...

Have a great day ...

Just got in from a Sunday night gig at a popular catfish restaurant. Do non-southerners eat catfish? Good crowd, small stage just perfect for our trio. Played mainly jazz tunes for primarily a blue-collar crowd. They seemed to like the group. We’ve been there many times before, so they know what they’re getting.
