Good booze and good medications have done a world of good for me during the past two weeks.

All the best,

Don,
a few years back Glenda called 911 and rushed me off to the ER with what we thought sure was a heart attack. Like your wife it was severe acid reflux. After they ruled out the heart they sent me to a guy who did a scope and repaired something and gave me some meds to take for a week or two and I have been free of any GERD or Reflux since. That is why this really scared me so much.

Turns out what they diagnosed can be caused by many things and We think we know what I did. The day before it all started I was trimming trees with a hand trimmer and some of the branches were really hard to cut and I had to really strain to cut them. Probably that is when I caused injury or strain to the Xyphoid Process which is a bone in your chest. They told me if the condition does not go away with anti-inflammatory treatment I might need corrective surgery. We will see.

Thanks again to everyone.

Deane
