Wow! I started having static on my Bose L1 Compact and a sudden decrease in volume. I called Bose support today and told them about the problem and everything I have done to isolate the problem. Without a minutes hesitation the man took my information and is shipping to me a replacement with absolutely no charge to me at all! I will ship mine back once the replacement arrives with all shipping paid for. What a great company.

They do have great support. I had the same thing happen.

That certainly is excellent support. Years ago I bought an AR amplifier which was very popular. A couple of years went by with no problems but all of a sudden it went silent on one channel
Notified AR and they paid for shipment back to them and also
back to me when repaired. That was a great company. Just saying!

Years ago I had a problem with the fuse connector on an original L1 it was plastic, I forced it and it broke. At the time I worked a few miles from one of the Bose facilities in Framingham, Ma. I took the unit there on my lunch break and had a replacement shipped the next day to me. NO CHARGE of course.

I have been a Bose fan since the first time I saw them. Two small speakers on stands outperformed the many heavy bins that were being used.

When I unpacked my Bose Compact I marveled at the perfect of every part of the system; including how all the covers fit perfectly.
