Really? I've been using REAPER for years. In fact, I don't know of ANY sequencer without track editing. Maybe we have a different definition of track editing.

Probably overstated the Reaper track editing. I had to export Reaper tracks to Audition to allow double click single track intricate editing. Even Pro Tools does not allow double clicking a single track to quickly expand the track for intricate editing. Maybe Reaper has refined its editing capabilities since my experience with it.
It really is a matter of what a person starts with and gets used to using.
