I was fooling around with the KORG Pa4x Mp3 recorder to get a feel for how it works, procedure, trying different levels, etc, etc, ....here is a small quick sample of what came out playing live in one short take,.... "Just the Way You Are"
I know I have more to learn with using it's features when recording with it but it's sure fun trying,...enjoy. headphone

Donny you learn quick ... is the Pa4X mp3 recording process any different from the Pa900 ... I really like the Pa900 ... I record using a midi/backing track or style ... I only wish I could record using an mp3 as the background also ...
What style was that ... it was really nice ...

Not being negative and I know you're just trying to show off the recorder function, but.....you may want to review the chords for that tune.

I wasn't expecting perfection. I was just saying that when you use a very familiar song to demo something, playing the wrong chords can be a distraction. The recorder function itself seems to work very well. Constructive criticism, when accepted as such, can often times be helpful.

Thanx for listening,....my concern was the quality of the recording not the chords or whatever it was a quick scratch recording push & play nothing more,.....I usually sing it to a custom mp3 backing track slow version and a nice big band swing version also depending.

Excluding vocals (I never comment on those), his version is much closer to the original. Sounds like a SMF to me but who knows? What exactly about the two versions are you asking me to compare? The KBs? The PA4x is 'cleaner' but (IMO) the G70 sounds more organic - however, you were using different instrumentation.

Donny, sounds fantastic. That's the style that comes up in the factory Songbook entry.
What e.q. settings did you use for the keyboard and mic? Yours sounds brighter than mine as I listen to the same song I recorded live a few weeks ago.

Played over a SMF..

That song has distinctive chord changes... you must play the changes..

When I use a style it usually is a latin feel.
