Yamaha will cater to the home organ player- It is very important that they do. Older people have the cash and most know music from yesterday. Excellent intros, beautiful arrangements with more than two chords. This is music at it's best !
Todays music is more based on style and rhythm, not music content. This should cause a stir ! Lloyd

All the more reason for Yamaha to keep it simple to use..

Totally agree Lloyd. Music consists of melody, harmony, rhythm and lyrics (if sung). Rap got rid of melody and harmony. The rhythm is center stage now.
Lloyd, I think you are right about Yamaha missing the boat. Even if the new Yamaha keyboard is awesome I wonder how many folks who bought the PA4X would make a change.

If they cut the weight by 10 pounds, reduced the size to something I could handle easily, gave it the operating features of the PA4X, made the vocal harmonizer good, and priced it in line with the Korg... I still wouldn't be interested.

DITTO....all MY needs are met and more with the KORG Pa4x 2.01 it's a real powerhouse arranger!
Korg is NOT my favorite keyboard and there are those who agree. Yamaha is a home players dream where weight isn't a factor and if you don't sing. forget the voice multiplier and mic ops.
So, different strokes for different folks so all the tweaking and fusing ain't for all of us. Lloyd
