First heard the Ramsey Lewis trio play this one, great tune. Eva does knock it out of the park!

I think about that often. Does anyone know WHY she never made the big splash here in America?

This woman just mesmerizes me. I watched this video about what she was like behind the scenes and in everyday life.

It's interesting right up to the last few minutes where it goes from "interesting" to just "heartbreaking" when it leads up to her last performance in public with "What a Wonderful World." And when she sang you felt like she was singing to you alone, and.......you just lost your best friend.

Who you know, being in the right place, and just stupid luck many times overrule pure talent. Maybe she was too shy or hated all the BS sometimes needed to promote yourself.
I just recently told a girl singer/ songwriter to,look Eva up and listen. I can't think of a better interpreter of a song to learn from.
