After our last keyboard club meeting, someone asked me if I could play Lara's Theme, as he thought it would sound great on my KN7000. Well, I found some music and it's in 3/4 time, but I'm having difficulty finding a style that sounds right for this piece. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike
You could try the Waltz Ballad in the March & Waltz section played around 140ish.
However, I tend to use Rock Ballad in the Ballad section at 70. It gives it more of an arpeggio backing, but from a tempo point of view the strong beats fall on the
1st & 3rd beats, which takes a little more getting used to. Give them both a try

Many thanks, Bill and John. I've received your email, Bill, and I'll try out this and John's suggestions. The Rock Ballad sounds an interesting idea.

Hi there...
Trust Yamaha to have something which meets the bill...I have converted their 'STY' file for use in KN5000 and above, which is called 'Zhivago' from which I believe 'Lara's Theme' is the theme music and will send it to you separately...
