Donny: My hunch (since they are somewhat vague) is it's similar to the PSR-S970.

Its still the same old VH2..
Since most homeplayers dont need or use it..
Yamaha is obviously not investing time and development in it

I like Vocal Harmony... but I rarely use it. The TC stuff sounds far superior to VH2. You'd think they would partner with Digitech or Eventide for harmonies and Ozone for mastering just to compare to the Pa4X.

32 bit DAC should make this Genos sound fantastic! Hopefully the preamp in the mic input is good with a compressor and vocal FX (reverb/delay). Then the normal mic signal should sound good.

I mean really. It's a lovely keyboard but at rrp $6999 Au $ I think really aside from the new shape colour, touch screen, better sound. It really is just an upgraded T5.

Sorry Yammy, I know lot of early adopters to buy, but it just isn't a Great Leap Forward for the money. But beauty is in the eye's and ears of the beholder. I really thought you would go for the Montage type upgrade, in parts you have some arpegiators, only one, you even put a cheap volume button again on the body for volume.

As I said a lovely keyboard, but for the money I'll be sticking with my PAX4 Pro till maybe Genos 2. Please jump way ahead of this release next time. My opinion I know, but I'm a buyer when I see value, and I just can't here.

There is a report that the VH has been reworked, so we should wait and see.
