Really GREAT stuff! Not familiar with thee folks, but have been listening to them for over an hour.

Love to play like this, but it's hard to find a band this hip and sophisticated.

Leonid & Friends is an extremely tight, contemporary jazz-rock band from Moscow. Their cover tune, “25 or 6 to 4” by Chicago, might surprise you. It sure did me.

According to their Facebook page, Leonid Vorobyev decided to gather his musician friends to record one of his favorite cover tunes by the band, Chicago. The success of that one song led to seven more and the addition of even more musicians, which includes not just vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and keys, but a full horn section, violin, and flute.

Spent the morning listening to these folks cook!

Besides sounding as good...possibly better than the original, the pure joy on their faces is a thing of beauty. Kind of like Snarkey Puppy.

Throw in an arranger keyboard player and the entire band falls apart.

Best compliment: This isn't so much a tribute to one of the greatest bands in the world as it is one of the greatest bands in the world performing somebody's original from 48 years ago.

What'd I tell you? I was spot on with this one, especially after having read the "Who
is the typical arranger player".

A great cover of that song. Very good band.
