Really? I just thought Tony meant listen to Dinner Jazz Radio (category) on Pandora - nothing specific. I just did and the first thing to come up was Stan Getz doing his drop dead gorgeous arrangement of 'But Beautiful'. That is definitely the next tune my little group and I are going to work on. Thanks Tony.

Right, chas ... I apologise that my post was quite short, but I'm glad someone understood ... What a great Pandora station to listen to - anytime but especially during a nice dinner ...
About 5 years ago we were having Easter Sunday dinner in a restaurant with a gift shop. The gift shop had a CD playing I asked what it was, it was Beegee Adair. I bought the CD some great tunes on it too.

No one in the world is a bigger fan of Beegie Adair than me. I’ve got many of her CDs. I use her songs during breaks all the time. They provide the perfect background for many of the gigs I play. She’s been in Nashville for years and has quite an impressive resume.

My Dad was a concert piano playing – who also played the pop music of his time. He tried to teach me how to play piano, but it did not work out. Father teaching his son is a no, no.
I have loved piano all my life, it is such a complete instrument. I took a few lessons but I was too busy making a living. My desire is still there. My favorite Jazz piano player is Errol Garner. He was one of the few players that did not sound like he was playing scales and arps. John C.

Hi Tony, thanks for introducing me to this great lady (now that I know what you were referring to). u-tube has a heap of her playing. What a wonderful job she does with so many old standards I had almost forgotten. I could listen all night. Searching for some of mine now to play.
