Which stores will stock the Genos?!?

Probably Frank, way east and George, way west! Sure nothing around the Midwest - maybe Sweetwater in Indiana

Lebanon PA to Milford CT (Frank's place} is a little under 4 hours, not counting any problems, traffic, etc. ...

No one in Baltimore, Tony, but I suspect Washington Music near DC will have them pretty soon.

I have always wanted to see his store! 4 hours is doable... 8 hours plus of driving to make a $4000-$5000 decision! Seems like time well spent.

Being a dad with an almost 5 year old... finding a place closer to home would be ideal.

Another option:

Vist a local Guitar Center about ordering, with a 45 day return policy. You could even have them set it up in the store for demo when it comes in.

I drove across the entire US from Baltimore to Spokane, Washington in the dead of winter with an almost 5 year old, a wife and a dog. Dumbest thing I ever did in my life, but we managed to survive. Now, just driving 4 hours is out of the question when you have bad lungs and a bad back. I just got home from winterizing the boat, which is only 45 minutes from home, and now I'm working on a tall glass of honey bourbon over ice. Winterizing the boat is akin to burying a close friend - it's awful. But, I would consider a couple hour drive to see, touch and play a new Genos.

I've looked everywhere online and as far as I know there are no stores in the U.S. that have a Genos in stock. Now George Kaye could be the exception I'm not sure. Sweetwater.com expects some in a few days. Guitar Center says December 12th if I'm not mistaken but that's just for online orders. I'm not sure GC will actually stock the Genos at their stores at all although that could change since some of the larger grossing stores might end up carrying it eventually. Music123 doesn't have them yet and if you do a Sam Ash search it comes up empty. It seems Yamaha is concentrating on European and Asian countries at the moment since that is the biggest market for arranger keyboards believe it or not. I will certainly demo one if and when they show up at Guitar Center but as of now I have no desire to purchase one because of the shortcomings that it has which I mentioned in a different thread.

How far are you from New York? There was one in stock and one in Panama city Florida in stock.

Sears music center (a Yamaha Diamond dealer) has 2 in stock now...I spent 2 hours there yesterday...about 15 minutes from my house (Ocala,FL)

Frank and George I'm sure will have a MUCH better price however.
