Last week a lady came in to where I work to celebrate her birthday. I wanted to do a special song for her and this is what happened. This song of course was done by Jessie Colter (Waylon Jennings' wife) and is one of my favorite songs. However since it is a "girl" song, I don't do it, and this was the first time I ever tried it, so it is far from perfect! The keyboard is Korg PA4X, and the style is Country Ballad 2.

That song is one of my "All Time" Favourites........ That song always puts a lump in my throat when ever I listen to it and your rendition does the same .

Don do ya think if I came to visit you, and you kept me in the closet for a few months I’d sing with that country feel? Maybe there are some injections that will do the trick. Oh but then I would lose my Sinatra flavor. (I wish)

Thanks guys! I've always loved that song and used to have a girl singer in my band that sang it maybe better that Jessie Colter did!

Always great to hear your songs Don. The piano sounds great (like an acoustic), a sound I cannot get on the 3X.

Hi Don:

I got my "fix" yesterday but ran out of time and could not respond. Wow! Love the way you introduced the song so listeners would understand it's a song from a woman's point of view... then sang it to perfection. Dang, that's good! Thanks for sharing.
