Good point Dan, unless you have a reality reference to true instrument sounds, one soon associates the keyboard version as being the real thing.

They're smart to bury the harmonies deep in the mix (A Yamaha tradition) so they don't get too noticed. I'm convinced, with all the great things they've done to the Genos ... improving the VH2 is not one of them.

Absolutely agree. I've read on PSR Tutorial where it is supposedly improved but I see no evidence. Looks like the presets were tweaked and that's all.

Yamaha should have adopted Tc Helicon technology into the Genos at that price point,....VH2 is the same Im hearing....bad tracking as usual for singing.
