Sorry Dave, but when I was a freelance writer, I had to edit my copy before I sent it to the publishers. I guess that grammar stuff just stuck with me, kinda like Carol has for the past 55 years. Sure glad she has kept me, though. I have lots of bad traits.

If I may ask, what is prompting your move back to Yamaha?

Donny if you are moving from the Pa4x to the S970 you are not alone; I am thinking about doing the same thing.

My reason:
As a home player there is more enjoyment in a S970. Playing out – The Pa4x is still king.

PS, Why have I moved so many keyboards around this past year? I even traded my S970 for a Pa4x this year and then bought another one. Because something has to take the place of preparing for my next job.

Like I said, lease instead of buy.

John: good insight. Sometimes you just want to turn it on and play. Not that you can’t do that with the Korg, but the 970 gives you great sounds with that simplicity, without breaking the bank.

Or buy slightly used..
That takes most of the pain from the shop prices..
Buying Donny’s pa4x might actually be a smart thing
