Create your own backing tracks or custom mixes into 3 tracks. Drums, Vocal, and instrumentation. Interesting stuff. I remember the Ketron SD7 promoted this capability in their initial promo. Some of the demos at their website sound promising.

Excellent Frank. Have you had a chance to work with the software?

We all know that Native introduced the stems concept some time ago Bachus, but it appears you have to use their hardware to utilize it. This appears to be a software option that’s quite affordable and works with a Mac computer.

Lets wait for the results actuall users have in creating their own Stems with this software...

There is one thing, i surely want to know. Will it be possible to import the results of this product into Ketrons multi layer audio player? IF so, this indeed takes it to a whole different level for arranger players.

Good find Donny! Unlike the Native software, where stems have to be created prior to building your own personal mix...XTRAX is allowing total extraction from a mono or stereo source. Once perfected...this will be an extremely valuable tool for OMB’s, DJ’s and music producers alike.

$499 or a $32.99 per month subscription.

If you buy the software and STEM 500 songs... it’s only a dollar a song. If you have a month and STEM 500 Songs... it only costs 7 cents per song.

Again, I like and enjoy the creation process. I would not use this software unless I had to create a dance remix.

Conclusions
This is a remarkable tool that with Audionamix’s clear commitment will only get better and better. If like me, you have recordings that you would like to preserve apart from their backing track, or you are a DJ or Remix artist, you are going to love it.

Price: $499.00 or you can subscribe to it monthly for $32.99

Pros: As far as I know, there is literally no competitive product that does what this does as well.

Cons: Fairly steep learning curve, although if you know a DAW like Logic Pro X or an app like Melodyne DNA well, you will learn more quickly.
